Oh no skipped April & barely made May by about 3 hours. Whatever... life is crazy, but good. Crazy good. I have a boy (actually very much so a man) I'm quite fond of. Graduation in less than two weeks, and life just rolls on. Bigger and better things are coming soon.

CUTTING IT CLOSE!

In two days I would have missed my once a month goal for a blog post. Getting it in though! Whoo.

I think all I will say is that you should always listen to the advice of others, but sometimes you just have to go with what YOU want, what you think is best. It's your life. Always live it with others in mind, never live fully for yourself--this is no way to live; but you also have to remember that there are a lot of paths to take in life, and while some people have the opinion that one path is better than the others, these people are not always correct or fair in their opinions. When it comes down to it you have to make decisions based on what you think is best--you have to. I think the point when I finally became an adult was when I realized everyone has to choose their own paths in life, and you shouldn't jump to judging people based on their choices. Life is not black and white--and how boring would it be if it was? There are beauty in the imperfections of life; we wouldn't be living if we didn't make mistakes. Sometimes you have to take a chance and pray it's the right choice, but if it's not--that's just part of life, you are just living life.

In general, I assume no one reads this--but it is a public blog so I have to always write as if there is an audience. I've dabbled in almost every form of social media on the internet, but my favorite for a few years now has been Twitter (follow me @LadyKillKatie). Twitter is the perfect medium to express short bits of things you're thinking, and that's why I love it, but I've always found that I rarely tweet about anything that I'm really emotionally invested in. I love the idea of people hearing what I have to say, but I've never had the desire to put it all out there--unlike many of by Facebook friends who put everything on the internet. Last week I no joke was able to follow one of my friend's breakups over Facebook--one post she was having the best night of her life with her boo, a few hours later a post about her not needing anyone in her life, and then of course in a few more hours her relationship status changed to "single." Don't worry, don't worry, the two got back together the next day. I don't know...posting that all on the internet is just too much for me. I've only learned in maybe the past year how to actually express my feelings to the people that are the closest to me--I'm not trying to expose myself to every remote acquaintance I have.

Anyways, my point is is that I would love to come on here and write about what I'm thinking but that's just too much exposure. Sorry. I guess all I'll say for now is that life is always strange, but you just have to live it and not get too caught up in things.

I have this theory that if you get what you want, you become apathetic. There's something in the longing for things--the motivation that comes from longing--that breads inspiration.

I'm pretty good at writing one blog post a month, so here's to December.
